As part of our ‘An Audience With….’ sessions Shaun Wright, the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for South Yorkshire, will be coming along to meet the sector and discuss his new role, the work done so far, and opportunities for the future.
This is the first time that the PCC will be taking part in these sessions and is the sectors opportunity to find out more about this new role and its responsibilities, the Police and Crime Plan and raise awareness of the sector.

In increasingly uncertain times it is essential that organisations have an understanding of the risks they face and how to manage them . As part of the Transforming Rotherham Infrastructure (TRIS) project we are now able to offer some free initial 2 hour interactive sessions for VCS organisations to discuss what risks they face, how they assess these risks and also provide the opportunity to create their own personalised plans for dealing with risk.

Sainsbury's School Games Volunteer - Sheffield City Council Major Events Team
The School Games seeks to create an inspirational and motivational setting which, providing our elite young sports people with the opportunity to thrive and perform at the highest levels, but encourages more young people to take part in sport. We are looking for friendly, outgoing and competent volunteers to fulfill a variety of roles. Volunteers will be acting as representatives for the event, therefore the right attitude is essential.
Event Organiser - Rotherham Cancer Care
Rotherham Cancer Care is a local charity which provides care and support to people who have received a diagnosis of cancer. All our services are free to patients and their main carer which is why fundraising is extremely essential for the service to continue. We are looking for volunteers who are; enthusiastic, motivated, someone with good organisational skills and an ability to organise and plan small events
