Do you support volunteers in your role? Do you understand the legal implications to involving volunteers in your organisation? This course will help you to explore the legislation around involving volunteers.
Worried about job subsitution, confused about the roles volunteers can undertake?
Not sure about using DBS checks?
This full day workshop will support you to explore all of these and more.
By the end of the session participants will be able to demonstrate an:
- Understanding of how current legislation has implications for volunteers and volunteer involving organisation
- Knowledge of good practice recommendations relating to the managment of volunteers
- Participants will also have the opportunity to plan for their own organisation in terms of how legislation affects management of their own volunteers
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. A minimum of eight participants will be required for this course to run.

with a view to retaining your volunteers once you have recruited them.
All participants will receive a free resource.
Course Dates: Wednesday 24th July 2013 - 10am until 4pm
