Job Description
Counselling Coordinator will provide leadership for the team of counsellors, to support Sheffield's young people.
The purpose of this role is to coordinate the delivery of integrated young people’s services, focusing on Counselling services, branded as “Door 43”. In conjunction with the Social Prescribing and Health & Wellbeing Coordinators, the post holder will deliver the Youth Information and Counselling Service (YIACS) model, including planning, communication, performance management, risk analysis, monitoring and evaluation, to support the development of pathways and processes which enable young people to access a variety of support with specific focus on emotional health and wellbeing.
This role is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing Project Delivery Plans and the achievement of contracted outcomes, along with specific project components such as communication with referral agencies, partners and funders, while working closely with the Finance and Business Development teams to secure forward funding.
The post holder is also expected to operate as Deputy Safeguarding Lead and as part of the Leadership Team, contributing to organisation-wide processes, priorities, and development.
