Pathways to Work - VCS Invitation to Bid

Rotherham Council are inviting VCS organisations in Rotherham to apply for funding to support the work of the new Pathways to Work programme.

This new small grants programme of £110,000.00 in total, will fund organisations to engage, upskill and develop the confidence of those furthest from the job market, supporting them to then make the most of a personalised employability coaching offer under Pathways to Work.

The small grants programme aims to reach over 550 people in total, over a nine month period commencing 12th May 2025.

Expected outputs from organisations are:-

1. Engage with the economically inactive who are furthest from the labour market.

2. Deliver activities to help people understand the benefits of being employed

3. Deliver activities to increase confidence for those needing the first steps towards employment.

4. Deliver activities to support the development of basic skills as a step towards employment.

5. Connect the economically inactive to Pathways to Work personalised support provision as the next step in their progression towards employment.
