Volunteering

The Volunteer Centre Rotherham promotes volunteering across the borough. We currently have over 60 volunteer different opportunities with a wide variety of organisations and groups; we expect more roles to be added as groups re-open following the pandemic. 

 

We can help you to think about the sorts of things you may want to do according to your own circumstances, areas of interest or skills.

The Volunteer Centre offers support and information to groups and organisations working with or thinking about involving volunteers.  This support enables us to raise awareness of good practice around volunteer management and raise the profile of volunteering locally.

We support organisations to attain minimum quality standards in relation to managing volunteers through our Volunteer Coordinator’s network, training packages, good practice guides and our Rotherham Volunteer Award.
